The USS Arizona Memorial in Pearl Harbor, Hawaii, is closing to visitors until the date of June 4th because the dock that sits on top of the sunken battleship was damaged in an accident this past Wednesday. "Initial visual assessments show the dock was moved about 10 feet toward the Memorial. A small area of concrete was damaged where the docks ramp joined the memorial. The dock's ramps and railings were also damaged," the state an said. They closed the memorial because it is not safe for visitors.
Pearl Harbor and the event that occurred in this place is a very big moment in Americas history. Many people go to visit the memorial to honor past relatives and people that were involved in the incident.
