Ten threats were made against U.S. planes. On the first plane to be searched, the passengers and attendants were questioned about whether or not they were feeling sickly. Upon search, nothing out of the ordinary was found. They repeated the searches for all the other planes under threat. Again, nothing was found, and though the threats may not be real, searches will continue just to be sure no one is hurt.
This was written by Tom Forman, Ross Levitt, and Matthew Hoye for CNN. Ever since the 9-11 attacks, airport security has been increasingly strict. Understandably, this is to ensure the safety of passengers, so it is overall a good thing. Though it may be inconvenient to go through airport security and be subject to checks, the goal is safety, and that is exactly why security is taking these threats with utmost seriousness. The country does not need another attack like on 9-11, and hopefully we won't experience one.
