Summary:
China wants to land a space craft on the dark side of the moon by 2020. If China does this, they would be the first country to do so. Some are believe that China's recent interest in the moon may be so that they can control the moon's recourses, which would help out any country greatly.
Analysis:
Some are worried this could lead to another Space Race. Whatever country leads the frontier of space exploration is the country that is on top. For the longest time that country has been America, but China's recent interest in space and their recent advance in space exploring technology is beginning to threaten our lead. NASA has already stopped sending their own rockets to space, relying on Russia's rockets to transport our astronauts to and from the International Space Station. America needs to gain back it's lead or our dominance as a strong nation is at risk.
