Israel slams Russia's decision to lift Iran missile ban - Lizette Ayala

Iran on Monday hailed Russia's decision to lift a ban on supplying Iran with defense missile systems as a step towards "lasting security" in the region. Meanwhile, both the United States and Israel have expressed their disapproval of Russia's decision to supply Iran with missile systems.
Israeli Intelligence Minister, Yuval Steinitz stated "Instead of demanding that Iran stop terrorist activity that is disseminated around the world, the world allows it to arm itself with advanced weapons." The Pentagon has openly stated its dissaproval with Russia's decision and says that the United States will deal with the affair through "the appropriate diplomatic channels."

- This is similar to the United States and Russia both openly agreeing to stop their pursute of the advancement of nuclear technology by signing the landmark treaty. The treaty will see both sides reduce their nuclear warheads to 1,550 within a seven year time span.
