An outbreak has been happening on the Celebrity Infinity cruise ship. 106 passengers have suffered from diarrhea and intense stomach pains. This has happened 3 times since 2001, and the ship has taken to cleansing and disinfectant procedures. The ship is to dock in San Diego on Wednesday.
This kind of reminds me of the pilgrims' trip from England to the United States on the Mayflower. There was a disease outbreak, and it killed many. Also, when the Irish immigrants moved here, the government had to do checkups when they reached shore to check for illnesses. However, this is on a cruise ship and since it has already happened three times, the cruise ship should take further precautions.
