Though exclaiming time and time again that she would not join the 2016 Presidential election, the Massachusetts Senator did give her specifications for who her dream candidate would be, including someone who will return power back to the people. She says that Washington functions well for the well-connected and special interest groups, not for the Middle Class. She says that she wishes to give all of the candidates a fair shot at first, though she believes that Republican hopefuls Rand Paul and Ted Cruz have already disqualified themselves because of their votes in Congress.
This is very similar to the rise of the Progressive Party or the Labor Party during the first half of the 20th Century. Both focused on middle-class Americans, corruption in the government, as well as the regulation of big business, which had gotten out of hand during that time (and is arguably out of hand now), as well as Progressive reforms such as women's rights.
