Long Island pumpkin poaching still unsolved- Jessica Dicker (2nd)
Tis the season for...poaching? 600 pumpkins that had a totsal value of about $4,200 were stolen from Rottkamp's farm in Calverton, New York. The robbery, which happened Sunday night/ Monday morning, is suspected to be another pumpkin vendor looking to make some more money off the fall season.
The other side of the news has a bit of light humor, which is nice to have in today's society, having a laugh every now and then is good for the soul.

This is a funny situation for someone to steal pumpkins , but it's still stealing and someone should get to the bottom of the pumpkin stealing. - Emily Gray, 5th period
ReplyDeleteCan they bring me a pumpkin? They're not that expensive... why would someone need 600 pumpkins.
