Lesly Marquez- Equal rights for men and women

Only six countries have equal rights for men and women, Work Bank find

Summary-

This article basically informs us about how out of the many countries that exist only six of them have equal rights for women and men. According to CNN calculations with the rate that we are moving at right now women won't have equal rights till 2073. There are a few countries who have improved  so much in the time thats passed but there are also a lot who haven't really moved from where they use to be. The US scored a score of 83.75 placing it outside the global top 50. The county that has improved in the fastest amount of time and showed the biggest growth was Democratic Republic of Congo which had a score of 42.50 10 years ago but measured 70 in 2017.

Analysis-

Its crazy to think that not even the US is in the top 50. Its actually really sad to know that because its where we live and its where most people want to come to because of the many opportunities that are open so you would expect something as simple as equal rights to be there. I personally believe that men and women should be equal. One gender shouldn't be paid less or more than the other and shouldn't be treated different because of gender.

  3. I agree with you, the gender should not affect how much we get paid or the rights we receive.
