Haley Bogdon - Greenland Ice Melt

This article is about the ice melting in Greenland and the speed at which it is melting away.  The author discussed the dangers to the large cities that are near coastlines and says that the melting ice could lead to higher sea levels.  I feel that the author was trying to persuade the readers to want to act or support the idea that we should be very concerned about global warming.  Using words such as "tipping point" and "too late" cause some worry and fear into the reader and definitely made me think about the futures and how this could impact our world.  The glaciers in Greenland are melting much faster as time goes on and hopefully we can find a way to slow this down or even reverse this before it causes major issues for coastal cities.
