The Trump administration has promised "extreme vetting" for people coming into the US, including our allies like the UK, France and Germany. Already examples of this have began to happen in the US, with every case happening to a Muslim citizen of these countries. It is clear the kind of blatant racism Mr. Trump is advocating when he says he wants "extreme vetting." for these countries. Not only is it a serious invasion of their privacy, but it is a form of public humiliation that no doubt will harbor further feelings of distrust the rest of Europe and the world has with the us. Only time will tell how much trump will irreparably damage our nation's reputation with other countries, or if others will follow suit, and ask for american passwords, while traveling abroad.
This can be synthesized to the the palmer raids during the red scare. This same kind of witch hunt has been going on in America for years. It is fueled by fear, which is all the more reason for us to stop electing politicians that propagate and use it as a tool.

I do agree that he is invading a person's privacy, creating furthermore fear, which he as a president shouldn't do.
