Payton Climer

This article is about a double amputee named Steve Otis. This article was written by CBS Boston on April 7, 2017. At about one in the morning Otis was heading back to his hotel room after being out with his friends when a person came up from behind him and hit him in the back of the head. Now this would be rude if it were any person but for Steve it was even worse. They knocked him over, one took his wallet and the other took his chair, leaving him on the curb still a few blocks away from his home. Luckily he was able to call the police and a nearby officer found him after he had crawled on his hands for almost half a block. Hearing this story makes me made at whoever was low enough to try to take away his dignity. It makes me sick that someone could be that cruel and rude. This article has a positive effect on the audience in that is make people aware of the cruelness of some people.

  1. I agree that no person should be treated with such disrespect and whoever did it should be ashamed of themselves.
