Payton Climer

This article was written by Fox 5 and was published on April 9, 2017. In summary of the article a woman was hiking in San Deigo on the Three Sisters trial. She, like all the other hikers, uses a permanent rope system to get down the steep areas. In the proses she hurt herself and had to be airlifted by helicopter to be treated. This was possible due to many people who called for helped and helped her in person. Being someone who hikes every year, I could not imagine getting hurt by myself, in the wilderness and not having help. This also proves the importance of staying on the train when you do hike because it allows people to know your location and find you if you need help. This article relates to a similar occorance that was for the same reason 8 days before this happened.

  1. I agree that is good for people to know your location, in case anything dangerous were to happen.
