The article I read about is about two high school kids that are going to prom together. With prom coming up for many schools and people, most people can relate. The difference between these two and any other couple going to prom is that they have been through pain and struggle with each other by their side. Both kids have a form of dwarfism called achondroplasia, that causes shortened and some times deformation of their legs and arms. Due to this the two met when by went through the same procedure that breaks their bone and adds metal rods to their legs. By going through the surgery together it allows them to have each other and know each other more than if they were just friends.
