This article describes how there are flights three times every week deporting people to Mexico. In the beginning it describes the situation of a man who arrived in Mexico City to welcoming family but also had to leave family back in Wisconsin where he lived. Donald Trump, like during the Obama administration, is prioritizing deporting criminals, but Trump has expanded the definition of a criminal. Trump has giving the immigration officers the ability to make judgments on public safety.
This is the opposite of what the Immigration Act of 1965. That act abolished the previous quota system and allowed much more immigration from Africa, Asia, and Latin America, as opposed to Europe. That act allowed many more people in which worked to reunir families and bring in skilled labor.
