Kennedy Waterman - Cleveland Police Search for Suspect in Fatal Shooting Posted on Facebook

On Easter Sunday, April 16th, Steve Stephens posted a video of him shooting a man, Robert Godwin Sr., on Facebook. A warrant has been issued, and police are searching for Stephens. In a video, he said he had killed multiple people, though Godwin is the only known victim currently. The video on Facebook has been taken down, and the account has been deactivated.

This article was written Monday, April 17th, so it is very current. Before reading, I had heard about the shooting through social media. This article was written to inform the general public, but also to inform those who may be in areas near Cleveland to be on the lookout. This article is very important because it is spreading the word. The more people who are looking for this guy, the better. Also, it is interesting, and horrific, that a person can literally post a video of themselves committing murder on the internet. This can be related to the Boston Massacre, when the British Army shot and killed Americans while under attack by a mob.

  1. I can't believe a person would do something like this. I hope he is caught soon and justice is brought to those effected.

  2. This is so awful to think he would post it on social media. I hope everyone involved is safe and that this man is out to justice.

  3. This is so disturbing that a person would have such little regard for an innocent person's life. I feel so bad for the victim and his family. So sad.
