Kate Pinkerton - San Bernardino School Shooting

Summary - Cedric Anderson entered a special needs classroom and shot his estranged wife, who was the teacher at the school, and two children before he himself committing suicide. One of the children died while the other was able to recover. The school where it occurred was North Park Elementary School in San Bernardino. In the classroom where the shooting occurred there were children from grades first through fourth. The local police department sent in officers to help with the situation. The suspect apparently checked in at the front desk and said it was going to visit his wife.

Analysis -  This is very sad that some people think they should act out in violence just because a romance goes wrong, especially killing helpless kids in school. This is also scary because people are supposed to check in as visitors at the front desk in order to avoid dangerous people like him from causing damage, but here because he was a trusted person and his gun wasn't visible, there was very little that could be done to prevent this. This can be synthesized to other mass shootings in school, though usually those aren't caused by a personal problem with those being attacked. This shows an example for why some people call for gun control.
