Summary:
Jared Kushner is the senior advisor in the White House, to President Trump. He also happens to be the President's son in law. He recently has landed in Iraq for the first time since assuming a portfolio of foreign affairs in the Trump Presidency. He was invited to come by the Joint Chiefs of Staff- Joseph Dunford. Kushner has been sent there on behalf of Donald Trump to express his support for the government in Iraq. He is going to meet with many leaders of Iraq- this being his first major assignment in the US government. He is supposed to return later this week.
Analysis:
I think it's good that we are making positive efforts to work with Iraq. It is also a good way to launch the senior advisor's career in the United States government. But, I do think that Trump should also try to go there himself instead of sending someone on behalf of him.
