Emma Lochabay-Samsung Recalls Washing Machines
On Friday, November 4th, 2016, the company who has been dealing with recalling one million smart phones after recent fire reports, Samsung Electronics recalled almost three million washing machines after reports of the lids popping off during a load of laundry, ultimately posing a threat of injuries. Samsung also reported that it is more prone to happen when heavy items are put on high speed, causing the machine to loose balance and vibrate violently. Samsung is offering complementary in-home repairs, rebates, and other services so they will not loose the business of some three million customers.

It looks bad on Samsung's part to have two pieces of technology recalled recently
ReplyDeleteI feel bad for Samsung that they have had two products recalled in the past few months, they are definitely losing customers because of it. Now they are going to have to be really careful and go the extra mile in testing their products so that they don't get anymore negative press.
