Obama urges Americans to give Trump a chance
Summary: President Obama has just told the public to give President Elect Trump a chance to get over the learning curve that all president elects face before being sworn into office. It's a tough job and it's hard for anyone to adjust to. He admits that he has concerns about Trump's lack of political experience but that would she give him a chance to show how he's going to handle the responsibility instead of responding with violence and hate. Obama also commented that even after his criticisms of Trump's temperament in the past, he believes that Trump is treating this responsibility with much more gravity than he has with other things in the past.
Analysis: I definitely respect Obama's opinion on the subject. As a current president himself he has personal experience about how hard it is to adjust to having one of the hardest responsibilities in the world. I definitely have my own reservations about Trump and some of the comments he has made, but now that he has been elected I think we need to peacefully let the government know how we feel through nonviolent forms of protest while also giving Trump a chance to prove himself as opposed to greeting him with the cruelty he has used against others.
