Payton Climer
This article was about a suspected serial killer in South Carolina. His name is Todd Kohlhepp, a former sex offender and current realator. Many people were shocked by this news including the widow of Scott Ponder, Melissa who was informed that her missing husband who has been missing for 13 years was dead. There were multiple bodies found on Kohlhepp's property including Mr and mrs Coxie, and Charles Carver. A woman who had been missing since August was found chained inside a metal container on Kohlhepp's ranch. This artilcle was written by Darron Simon, CNN staff, on Saturday, November 12, 2016. This makes this information current and accurate. There is no bais in the article, just the facts of the event stated in a clear manner. First off I would like to say that he should not have become a realator with a sex offenses in his past, secondly, the fact that he, a serial killer, had the key to many people's houses and could get in at any moment is pretty scary. My question is why? Why did he just decide that he wanted to do this with his life? Why did he decide to kidnap a couple, killing one and chaining up the other? It's scary to think that someone
Like that could be in our cut or neighborhood. Nobody suspected him before and no one saw or caught him in the act, so how could we? This article has a positive influence on the audience because it makes people become more aware, and more observant of the things happening around them. This also allows people to be more cautious in possible dangerous situations. This relates to any serial killer in history.
