Valencia College Facing Damaging Lawsuit- Lossie Hudspeth

In Orlando, Florida students of a particular college were being forced into "mandatory" vaginal exams. These exams were reported as demeaning and embarrassing for the students who had to be the patient and go through with it. Reports of sexual assault were also included by the patients who received these exams from male students.

What this says about the education women receive is that there is a huge difference in learning environment. The 60's feminist movement led women to fight for their right to be equal and have a stronger role in society; however that is still not the case. Women are being constantly harassed in the workplace, centers for learning, and their own homes. Sadly, this case, like many other horror stories about sexual misconduct, will go unnoticed and ignored because of our misogynistic society.
