The U.S. carried out a major raid in Syria, killing Abu Sayyaf. He was the senior ISIL leader who oversees illicit oil production. They also captured his wife, who is suspected of playing an important role in ISIL terrorist activities. The raid lasted for about 30 minutes around dawn and resulted in the death of 40 ISIL fighters along with the "oil minister". Luckily, none of the U.S. forces were killed or injured. It's nice to see the U.S. really stepping in to stop ISIL from causing such destruction to so many lives.
