Hair hang gone wrong: Joan Milburn pd. 1

This weekend a tragic accident injured 9 circus acrobats who were performing an act being suspended by their hair and then dropped. What caused this accident? A D-ring suspender that was supposed to hop up to ten thousand pounds, failed and snapped under less that 1,500. After the single part failed the whole apparatus went plunging to the ground, injuring the 9 acrobats.

Response
It is really tragic that so many people were injured at the fault of one ring. It is said that that was the piece that caused the accident. I can't imagine what it must have been like for the audience members watching. I know that the circus is a pale where children usually go- and that must have been very scary.
