In College Station, Texas, a woman named Veronica Rodriguez was shocked to find a 12-foot African python in her bathroom on Tuesday. According to the police, the python must have slithered into the house when Rodriguez left her back door open while she was bathing her three pet guinea pigs and putting them in outdoor pens. Rodriguez recounted that she was hearing strange noises in the house and went to see if it was coming from the bathroom, and called 911 after making the startling discovery in her bathtub. College Station police and animal control officers came to handle the snake, using a city trash can to transport it. The python was returned to its owner and no guinea pigs were harmed.
I think this story is scary but funny at the same time - I'm just trying to imagine her shock upon walking into the bathroom.

This is a pretty crazy story! You certainly don't hear about that kind of thing every day. I'm glad that no people or animals were harmed.

ReplyDeleteThis is a very startling story, but the home owner should've known better than to leave her front door open. Rather than a snake, it could've been an intruder entering her home!
