Just after Oregon and Pennsylvania struck down bans on gay marriage, a poll on gay marriage was conducted by Gallup. 55% said they support same-sex marriage, which is a record high for the poll since it's beginnings in the 1990s. The first time it was conducted, in 1996, 68% opposed same-sex marriage.

This is exciting news. I think it's time Texas actually caught up with the other states. The ruling from months ago seems to have not influenced much else on the decision of legalizing gay marriage. Good job Pennsylvania and Oregon!
