- Mix 12 ounces of coarsely ground coffee in a container with 7 cups of water (the coarseness makes for a clear drink)
- Cover with a cheesecloth and let stand at room temp. for 15 hours
- Line a fine-mesh sieve with the cheesecloth over a container and pour the coffee through it without stirring
- Discard the cheesecloth with leftover solids
- Line the same sieve with a coffee filter and strain through it once more without stirring
- Cover and keep chilled
- Dilute 1 part coffee concentrate with 1 part milk/water over ice
- Enjoy
