"U.S. Shopping Malls increase security in time for holiday crowds," - Emily Gray

Summary: On November 8th a gun shooting was experienced at a New Jersey Mall. This shooting rose awareness for incoming shoppers off the holiday season. There have been several incidents like this before and after the 9/11 attack things have gotten more tight on security.

Analysis: This article was written on November 8th by Chris Francescani. This article was written to ensure the public that they will be protected while doing their holiday shopping. It's sad that this shooting happened but I'm glad they are taking drastic measures during the holiday season. That means I can shop without something dangerous to happen. It also means that they haven't let there guard down since 9/11 and are taking measures to ensure nothing like that happens ever again.

  1. Increasing security in shopping malls during the holidays, is definitely a good thing considering all of the violent events that have broke out lately. Having extra security around may be able to take some stress off of holiday shoppers' shoulders.
