Jakira Richardson - Immigration Interruption

President Barack Obama, giving his speech on the need for a solution to the eleven million undocumented workers in California, was rudely interrupted by a man who was all for Obama simply cancelling deportationo. The event took place at the Betty Ong Recreation center in San Fransisco China Town. The guy accused Obama of having the power to stop all depportations and yet just standing by. He got louder with a NO DEPORTATION chant. Obama responded by saying "Actually, I don't. The easy way out is to try to yell and pretend like I can do something by violating our laws. If in fact I could solve all these problems without passing laws in Congress, I would do so." He then told his secret service men to leave the guy in his seat instead of throwing him out. Obama is a very intellectual and well rounded man. He has been many places and done many things. He has had no power and little money and much power without the need of much money. This is the reason he can stay calm in situations where others are so passionately riled up. He leet this guy stay where he was and gave him a direct response because he probably saw a passion in him he himself had experienced at sone time or another. Although he did seem to get agitated when the man would not let him finish his sentences. He told the man that he was incorrect in his accusations and then did what many fail to do. He challenged the man (low key) to do something about it besides yelling at him, because that was not going to solve a thing.
