Five years after the death of Lucy Precaido, her killer has finally been put in the back of a cop car, under arrest. Jesus Humberto Canales or "Chuey" killed precaido with a sword in front of her four children. They all witnessed their mother's death; one of them, 9 at the time, called 911. A few days after he commited the murder, he fled to Pomona, California, and then Las Cruces, New Mexico. The case was aired on "America's Most Wanted" and viewers called in with leads. A successful tip lead them to a Mexican mall where Canales was arrested. I find this story to be bittersweet, finally there is justice for a family left with nothing but at the same time, a life can never be revived. Fortunately, detectives are more clever and somehow find the suspect, even if it takes five and a half years.
This sounds like ana mazing story and like it finally bought some closure to the family, happy they finally can relax. Although the death of the woman doesnt make it any better.
