Three members of two different Iranian bands, The Free Keys and The Yellow Dogs, were recently shot by a previous member of The Free Keys, Alie Rafie, who apparently separated from the band due to a "petty conflict." His exact meaning behind the shootings will remain a mystery, as he commit suicide upon his roof. The drummer and guitarist for The Yellow Dogs were both shot by Rafie.
The part I find most disturbing about horrific stories like these is that we don't really know why he killed them, and we may never find out. It worries me even more if he had no definite reason. Such illogical violence and reasonless tragedy is cause for anxiety for all. If Rafie could suddenly shoot up his previous friends, who's to say my friends won't suddenly turn against me? Or I to them?
