A customer at a Long Beach sushi bar became angry over a two-hour wait and then took it out on another customer. The shouting match is caught on video and the angry customer begins yelling “C’mon monkey man!” and other slurs. Another person begins to say, “hey, don’t do it, don’t do it. Hey, it’s not worth it, it’s not worth it, bro.” A woman tries to get in between the two men before the angry customer charges another man. The woman then punches the angry customer several times and the restaurant begins to cheer. The angry man and the woman were both issued citations for battery.
This. Is. Awesome. Honestly this event is the embodiment of the feminist movement; it is a complete reversal of gender norms that have been around for hundreds of years. Women during the cult of domesticity era would be ecstatic to see a woman physically protecting a man, not just emotionally like in the beliefs of Republican Motherhood. Incredible.
