Scientists: Why we should appreciate wasps- Savannah Ghermay

Scientists have made a map of UKs wasp population to show important species.
They claim that wasps are more important to nature than the world realizes, and that they keep other bugs out of humans way.

Although I am definitely not a fan of wasps, they do have an important job of eating bugs that actually contribute to the damage of wildlife. Like the Honey bee, without wasps, we would have an unhealthy world with many pesticides involved. I think it’s important that people recognize that while wasps are scary and can be annoying, we shouldn’t want to kill them every chance de we get. They benefit nature in a huge way and should be almost grateful for they’re contribution.
