New Church Building Dedicated in Texas Town Where 26 Were Killed

In 2017, a gunman entered a church service in Sutherland Springs, TX killing 26 people. Now, 2 years later, a First Baptist Worship Center has been dedicated to the tragedy and fortified against future danger. On Sunday the room was filled with more than 500 people, showing respect to the victims. A safety response team has also been placed to handle incidents such as what happened and prevent future ones.
I think that this is a great way of honoring those who were affected by the shooting and taking action to keep those attending the church safe. This reminds me of after 9/11 the Patriot Act, TSA, and Homeland Security was enacted.
