Though democrats have been waiting patiently for an opportunity for Robert Mueller to testify fully about information regarding the report, Mueller himself denies the parties wishes. Mueller told, and the washington post confirmed that matters of the investigation should not be further presented to the public beyond what is stated in the report. This includes whether Trump should be charged for obstruction of justice, and further prosecution of others in the Trump administration. Though he has been a leader in the investigation for about two years, Mueller has only spoke to the public on rare occasions one time about Trump's lawyer Michael Cohen, and once about his disapproval of Barr’s description of the report. With his few encounters with the public, america might never know what Mueller’s true feelings about the report or what he investigated might be, or if he believes Trump is in fact guilty.
Reminds me of the Iran- contra affair during Reagan’s presidency where vital information was withheld from the public's eye.
