Earlier today, a judge ruled that Trump’s accounting firm must turn over Trump’s tax records within the next 7 days. Personally, I am excited because the people of the US can no longer expect government officials to be honest and it is good that other officials are holding them accountable. Releasing tax returns should be a standard set for all presidential candidates in order to prevent corruption. The money trail has been one of the most important pieces of evidence in most scandals, even Watergate. I believe that this is a way to ensure government integrity.
