This article discusses the extent of the possible damage that tornados may have on areas from Missouri to Texas. Nearly 4 million people are in danger.
I chose this article because I have a very close friend that lives in Oklahoma, where the brunt of the damage is sure to take place. This article contained pictures and diagrams to help explains the breadth of the possible damage, so it is obvious that the author wishes to educate the public on how to be safe. this can relate to Okies and the Dust Bowl because they were forced to leave due to environmental threat, just as current citizens of Oklahoma might have to do because of the tornados.
It scares me how these tornadoes can just appear out of nowhere with little to no warning.
