Recently, South Korea launched a barrage of short range missiles into the Pacific Ocean. While this is evident of an escalating nuclear standoff, our secretary of state believes that there is a way to fly denuclearize North Korea through diplomacy. Apparently, diplomatic relations with North Korea are improving, and there is reason to believe it will only continue to get better.
This is exiting, as it leads to a better future for my generation and will hopefully help to prevent high-nuclear tensions in the future. This reminds me of Cold War era denuclearization.
