An American Airlines pilot was recently arrested on Saturday, at Louisville International Airport. This was after he was charged in the deaths of a Kentucky couple and their neighbor that occurred in 2015. Christian Richard Martin, a 51 year old man, is accused of killing Calvin and Pamela Phillips and Edward Dansereau back in November 2015. Calvin Phillips was found shot to death in his home in Kentucky, on November 18, 2015. Phillips was charged with multiple crimes. A grand jury charged Martin on Friday on three counts of murder, one count of arson, one count of attempted burglary in the first degree, and three counts of tampering with physical evidence. His family has been deeply effected. He joined the Armed Forces in response to the September 11 attacks. He was arrested at the airport, with passengers waiting to board hearing that their pilot had been arrested. It was described as something you would only see it movies.

This event reminds me of an event that took place in the 1990s. A pilot was convicted of flying a plane full of passengers under the influence of alcohol. Although no one was hurt, this is a similar situation. Hundreds of people’s lives were put at risk because of a single persons actions. Thankfully both of these criminals were arrested.
People should really do a check in the pilot before they fly with them because of this very reason
ReplyDeleteIts crazy to think that the person who has all of these lives in their hands has murdered people thats terrible.
