Deadly Wildfire in Canada-Madison Malonson
We all know about the crazy, uncontrollable wild fires that happened not so long ago in California. Thousands of people had to leave their homes behind, running away from deadly flames. The same issue is happening in Canada. The Chuckegg Creek wildfire in Alberta, Canada has burned 500,000 acres of land and has forced 5,000 people to evacuate. The level 6 wildfire has destroyed hundreds of homes, schools, and shops. The people in the area are devastated and don’t know where to turn. This increase in huge wildfires could be linked to climate change. We as people need to do our best to take care of the Earth or else it will destroy us instead.
