Two days ago, Governor Kay Ivey of Alabama signed the strictest abortion bill in the country into law. This law bans all abortions unless its against a woman's health and she is in serious danger. No exceptions for victims of rape or incest. Doctors who give abortions could face up to 99 years in prison. It is set to go into effect in six months. Planned Parenthood is getting ready to sue.
Democratic presidential candidates have came out as against this law. Republicans (Trump included) have not said anything. They are clearly trying to get this to the Supreme Court, which is now Republican.
