A woman in California attempted to get the attention of a police officer to inform him the her own son has molested children. Joseph Boston age 18 admitted to authorities that not only does he go to motels for $65 a night to commit the crime, but he has molested over 50 children. He's lived in many cities and takes that opportunity to do this, it;s been happening since he was at age 10. He called his mother and told her, immediately causing her to call the police. He is now at the Robert Presley Detention Center, with a bail set at $1 million.
This is like when Harriet Beecher Stowe released Uncle Tom's Cabin, depicting the harsh treatment of slaves among the South. If this wasn't written to show people the reality of slavery, there wouldn't have been that high of a rate of people who opposed slavery.
This article really made me emotional, because I know people in my life that have been molested, and it hurts to know that they couldn't say anything about it or tell anyone because it's not something that can easily be said. I hope that things like this stop happening because it creates a bad idea for people who it has happened to, and it can mess up their future. Some people can't even grow up right because of such traumatizing events. :(
