Suspect in Times Square Bombing Leaves Trail of Mystery
Summery:
This Monday, Akayed Ullah, strapped bomb on his body to detonate in Time Square subway station. People close to him, such as Mohammad Yousuf- someone who prayed with Ullah a the mosque of a Bangladeshi- says he was always a good guy. Law enforcers says that Ullah was targeting ISIS. The article goes on telling us Ullah's life history as an immigrant in America.
Analysis:
This actually is so sad. I'm happy that the people of New York weren't hurt as well as Ullah. Since their are so many questions not answered in the article, we don't know what led Ullah to terrorist actions, and I truly hope he can reflect on his actions. I don't know how he thought violence on ISIS would solve anything and I'm honestly confused. But so does a lot of the terrorist attack in America. And something that also confuses me, and this isn't a big part of this but..... why do we call Ullah a terrorist but not the shooter of the Texas church, or at the Las Vegas concert. Is it because he's an Asian immigrant (middle eastern) and these "shooters" were white? I don't know.
