More and more companies are now using apps like Wickr and Vaporstream for internal communications between their employees. These are used because they are more secure than normal texting. They keep conversations secret and automatically delete messages without saving a copy. It is becoming commonplace for companies to use tools like this to communicate privately.

I don't see anything wrong with companies using this form of communication internally. Technology is making it easier for employees to communicate privately with one another.
This is just dangerous because if a company does do something wrong, there will be no access or proof to judge them off of. It's easier to hide things.
ReplyDeleteIt's just a little scary that this kind of discretion is normal and necessary to companies. I guess privacy can be a motive, but it definitely makes it seems like secrets are being kept.
ReplyDeleteThis is suggesting that it's reliable as Snapchat. If authorities truly had an intention on finding evidence, they would be able to, regardless of the app system and set up.
ReplyDeleteprivacy is a controversial topic. i think the people of these companies should be able to communicate privately, but then again, what is going on to make them have a NEED for privacy?
