Over 231,700 acres of land have been scorched by wildfires in California. $48 million dollars have been spent trying to prevent and put out these fires. Almost 10,000 firefighters have tried to help this disaster. All of these facts are insane to read about. Wildfires, hurricanes, tornadoes, what's next? We can't keep having this happen to our environment, and we need to find a way to prevent what's going on. Back in the 18th century, the Great Depression hit after the stock market crash. Many people struggled to go on with everyday life, and it was similar to these wildfires. Natural disasters are relentless, and will destroy anything in their way unless we find a system to stop them.

That is true, but natural disasters are highly unpredictable. They show up with only a few days of notice. You can't find a way to prevent them. Yes, you could've prevented the Great Depression. There was a way for it to be prevented, but natural disasters are a completely different story.
