Missouri man killed toddler because she wouldn’t put on her pajamas, cops say

Jalen Vaden, a 22 year old from Missouri, has been accused of murdering a three year old because she didn't put her pajamas on. On Thursday he was charged with second degree murder and child abuse due to the fact that 3 year old Jayda Kyle was found unresponisve in her room. According to court documents, Vaden was furious because he told Jayda to put her pajamas on and she did not do it. He reportedly asked her to put her pajamas on on two seperate occasions, and she did not listen. Vaden then retaliated, and threw her at the floor (twice). She was rushed to the hospitable, but she did not survive. Her autopsy reveals signs of head injuries that were likely caused by child abuse. 

I find this situation crazy and stupid!!!! She was three years old! A toddler! I know for a fact that I did not always do what I was told to do when I was a toddler. Even though I was probably put in "time out",  I was lucky to never be so severely punished like Jayda. I also feel like the mom (Vaden's girlfriend) should have been more present. It shouldn't have been "later" that Vaden found Jayda in her room unresponsive. I'm very interested to know where her mom was, and if she could've done anything to prevent this. (Surely she could have....)
