Liza Kaye: officer faces murder charges for shooting of a 15 year old

A 15 year old passenger in a car leaving a party was brutally shot, leading to his death, by a white police officer. In the suburb of Balch Springs, the police's bond was set as $300,000. Edwards, the 15 year old, was simply leaving a party with his two brothers, and two friends. Initially, the police filed a report saying their car was backing out in an aggressive way. However, it was later found on tape that he pulled out very normally and unsuspiciously. Every single passenger in the car, including his own brothers, had to tragically observe they brother die from a shot wound to the head. This police had served on the force for over two years.

This is abundantly relevant to the civil rights movement during the 1900's. Minorities were tired of being treated as if they were undermined by the white people. Police brutality has existed for several years, and it is obviously still occurring around us. It is also similar to the Black Lives Matter movement occurring currently.
