He is very well known for his amazing acting in Sin City and Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.  He accepted his Emmy in person, which is no normal for the actors who boycotted. This boycott was as part of a Screen Actors Guild strike. On social media, his passing has been extremely popular in the postings. Beau Bridges and Lea Thompson expressed their sadness of the passing by a few tweets which have gone viral. His acting career started in the 1970s.
