Jay'La Sims - Study suggests Amelia Earhart landed on Pacific island

SUMMARY: It is now said that Earhart died as a castaway and not in a plane accident. Earhart was the first woman to fly across the Atlantic. Her plane crashed into the Pacific Ocean while she attempted to circle the Earth. It was always assumed that she was killed in the crash and her remains were in the water. The skeleton of a castaway found on the island of Nikumaroro, Kiribati, in 1940 may belong to Earhart."We believe she survived heroically, and alone, for a period of time, in terrible circumstances. History needs to tell her story right," he added.

ANALYSIS: This article was written by Karla Pequenino. This is recent information that was released on November 2 , 2016. I find stories like this so interesting because you're never 100% sure with history. I find the research and the hope for this story amazing. I believe this story and I think that the research on her arm is very interesting. It's good to go back and look at things in history to make sure they add up  This changes her life story and bravery. This can connect to the original owning of things and culture like native Americans.
