Kate Pinkerton - cashier gets robbed

Summary - The video is of a man entering a Jimmy Johns restaurant and then putting a gun to the cashiers head and demanding the money. The cashier looks very calm and hands the robber all of the money after a very minutes of the man pointing a gun at various employees. The city police, with the help of the public, found the suspect and arrested him. No one was hurt.

Analysis - My first thought is wow that guy looks so calm, if not just annoyed. His calm compliance probably was what helped keep everyone safe. My second thought is how desperate was this guy that he had to rob a sandwich restaurant. Is this what our world has come to? It says that to the help of public tips they were able to find the robber which shows that through public cooperation they can effectively help their community. One problem with this occurrence is that to the racist eye this could be seen as another justification to the view of minorities as criminals or unlawful people. At least the suspect was caught without another shooting. Now I see why criminals wear masks because you cant rob a store with a security camera without one.
