On Sunday, November 5th at 7:40 AM grocery store, Ingles, in Asheville N.C. was robbed at gunpoint. The men had a handgun and took an unknown amount of money, although nobody was injured. Police had said the the robbery was coordinated, one men had the employees secured, while the other took the money. According to police, the men had masks so they were unable to be described. One witness noticed that one of the men also stole a pair of new Air Jordans off of a young man who was in the store at the same time of the robbery.
This was published on November 6th, 2016 showing that this just recently happened. I wonder how much money was stolen, but I'm just glad that nobody got hurt, it could've been really bad since there were guns involved. I would say this is a negative article because what the men did was awful and very scary for the customers and workers in the store. This article was written to get the message across that people really do do these awful things, so just be cautious and know what to do in that type of situation. This can relate to history to the time when a group associated with the PLO broke into a dozen banks and stole £25 million worth of gold, jewels, stocks, and currency, valued as much as $100 million in today's money.
